Paso Robles Horse Park Named Top Equestrian Facility in California by EQ Living
The Park’s horse shows ranked third amongst all jumper competitions in North America

PASO ROBLES, CA (August 6, 2019) – The Paso Robles Horse Park is thrilled to be recognized as the top competition facility in California and to also earn bronze distinction for show jumping events throughout North America. EQ Living and their well-known Equestrian Living Magazine stands as one of the most widely-recognized and followed national publications across multiple disciplines of equine sports. Currently in its sixth year, their annual Equestrian Living Gold List has grown to become the leading survey of all things horses. This year, the Paso Robles Horse Park and the region were mentioned multiple times across award categories.

Since opening its gates in 2015, the Paso Robles Horse Park has been building its show offerings and reputation as a leader for both facility and competition experiences. This year, the expanded schedule includes seven United States Equestrian Federation recognized competitions, in addition to four locally-targeted schooling shows. In the spring alone, multiple Olympic athletes attended the Paso Park Classic Series to compete in their Grand Prix events.

In addition to the Paso Robles Horse Park’s accolades, Twin Rivers Ranch was recognized with a bronze award for their role in three-day eventing competitions and Hotel Cheval was recognized as a California accommodations favorite for traveling equestrians. These multiple recognitions distinguish Paso Robles as a region sought-after and favored amongst competitors of a variety of equine disciplines.

“One of our top goals at the Park is to share the incredible qualities of the Paso lifestyle with equestrian competitors of all levels,” commented Amanda Diefenderfer, Paso Robles Horse Park Director. “Recognition from a national voice such as EQ Living is both an honor and a thrill. From the Park to other facilities in the area, we love seeing the competitors’ passion for Paso shared with our own.”

The Paso Robles Horse Park will continue their competition schedule this fall with six more shows including the two additional national-level United States Equestrian Federation recognized shows of the Paso Park Classic Series. Taking place October 30-November 3, and November 6-10, these shows will attract top equine and rider teams as they compete for over $100,000 of prize money each week. In an effort to share the incredible allure of the athleticism and love for these horses, all competitions at the Park are open and free for the community to attend.
