Young Horse Program at All USEF-Rated Shows

Competitors with young horses (seven years of age or younger) can select 1 warm-up or ticketed schooling round, and up to 3 judged classes to have their fees waived. These classes must be declared by Friday of the show by submitting information on the form below and providing the office with age verification. Additionally, these horses will receive a $50 discount on their stalls.

To qualify for any young horse benefits (stall discounts and/or free classes) age verification must be submitted and the 2EX form must be completed by 5 p.m. on the Friday of the related show. Late submissions will not be accepted. Free classes cannot be used on classes offering prize money.

EXperience

Time at a show and in the ring can be accompanied by large costs. Unfortunately, this can be one of the biggest hurdles to pass when making the decision to gain experience with your young horse. Recognizing this, the Paso Park offers one warm-up and three competition classes free of charge at each show.

EXposure

At the Paso Park we want to help all young horses gain exposure to the ring and preparation for their future careers. At all rated shows track the points for the three declared competition classes of each show. A champion and reserve champion young jumper and young hunter will be recognized based on these points.
